Speech Pathology Australia is the national peak body for the speech pathology profession in Australia. Speech pathologists are university trained allied health professionals with expertise in the assessment and treatment of communication and/or swallowing difficulties.

Australian Group on Severe Communication Impairment (AGOSCI) is an inclusive group interested in enhancing the participation of all people with complex communication needs. 

Key Word Sign is used to encourage and support language development in children and adults with communication difficulties. Key word signing uses Auslan signs. Key Word Sign Australia gratefully acknowledges the Deaf community for the use of Auslan signs.
